From moon landing to the invention of laser, the 1960s marked a time of world innovation. With this mindset, Indel B was born in 1967 in the areas where the Italian automotive industry was most fruitful. The Company launched on the international market with the first 12 or 24V DC semi-hermetic compressor planned and designed in Italy. In this general idea of freedom and change, the first refrigerator with compressor was created, completely changing the idea of comfort outside the domestic walls and during the long trips of transporters. This spirit of innovation, the visionary eye on customer’s future needs, and important investments in research and development allowed Indel B to move from one sector to another, showing its know-how and technical abilities. Today Indel B is a solid reality quoted on the stock market, with an unprecedented record of iconic pieces which have changed the way we live outdoors: over 3 million products, excellent collaborations in every field, and the intention to keep developing the outdoor sector with OFF products.

In 1998 Indel B provides the first hermetic compressor for the Space Shuttle Columbia.
